Clayton's Team against the Redmond Huskies

O.K. It is official... I am the crazy mom on the sidelines jumping up and down screaming at the top of my lungs.  Football is intense.  Clayton's game on Wednesday was tough,  He played a team that had twice as many kids as his team and they all seamed to be at least a head taller.  Clayton's team held their own and it was a tough game.  They ended up loosing by 2 points, but only because of a safety.  Clayton played quarterback the whole game.  He made some mistakes, but he was also a little tiger out there.  One time he fumbled and lost the ball.  He was so mad the next play he ripped the ball out of the opponents hands and was the one on the bottom of the pile.  After everyone was peeled off of him he had recovered the ball. It was crazy.  Him and his snapper need to practice some more because they fumbled the ball five times.  Not good.  He passed a couple of balls too, although they hit the mark the receiver didn't catch them. Still it was a really good game and everyone one was proud of them.  They looked like they were out there playing high school students.  I know he was pretty happy with the outcome cause he was talking to us after the game.  That's a good sign.

Clayton got up slower and slower throughout this game.  It was a rough one.

  1. It is kind of funny to look at these pictures because there is nothing to compare too, they look like real grown men out there! Good job Clayton! Playing quarterback comes with a huge responsibility and a lot of pressure! Not very many kids have the talent it takes to be a QB AND be able to handle the pressure! Let alone for the whole game! I can't tell you how many times I have made mistakes while teaching, but it only makes be a better teacher! I know you will be the same way. I really wish we were closer we would come to all your games if we could!!!! Sounds like you guys are doing good.

    Love ya,

    Kari
